Why Ra-Ku patch doesn't hurt?

Root of Acupuncture

Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment is a direct stimulating treatment on the skin with acupuncture needle or moxa.
Oriental medicine believes that 12 roots called Keiraku (経絡: Meridian) are running on the surface of body, and "KI (vital spirit)" is constantly going round those roots.
And acupuncture points called "Tsubo" are existing on the body with a central focus on these 12 meridians. When physical abnormality or disorder occur on the body, a pain, stress or pit, or temperature or color changes will appear on the specific acupuncture points.
Stimulating such acupuncture points showing such changes is acupuncture and moxibustion treatment which remedies pathological abnormality.
